I went into Ngaire's program with hip and back pain as a result of lifting something too heavy, as well as an already tight/weak pelvis. After 5-weeks I am now pain-free, but the takeaway for me was learning how to re-evaluate ‘what is this pain’?. I learnt to let go and drop into myself through breath, releasing body aches by just being aware of how my stress is affecting my nervous system, and in turn possibly creating pain. Pelvic health is a big area and covers a wide variety of health issues, from pelvic pain, PMS, pregnancy, postnatal rehab and gut health. Everything in the body is connected, and no two women are the same.
So to heal many pelvic floor & core issues, an individualised approach is recommended, especially if a generalised program/approach has not worked for you in the past.
This 1:1 coaching program is an opportunity for us to create a custom 3 or 6-month plan, specific to your stage, symptoms, lifestyle & goals. I use an evidence-based 'biopsychosocial' approach, which basically means I treat the 'whole person' - your lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, thoughts/beliefs, stress, physical activity, and how these things can all impact your pelvic health.
This program is for you if you want:
- Motivation & accountability
- A custom 'return to exercise' postnatal plan
- To finally resolve your urinary incontinence (leaking)
- To eliminate or reduce pelvic pain, back pain, pubic or hip pain (pre or postnatal)
- Pregnancy and/or birth preparation support
- A phased rehabilitation plan for c-section, prolapse or diastasis
- Individualised 1:1 support rather than a group or self-paced learning

If you live on the southern Gold Coast, you can see me in person! Book to see me at Studio X Phys in Mudgereeba, where I see clients 1:1 plus run small group strength & reformer classes.
Alternatively I also offer home visits, which can be great in those early postpartum days when getting to a clinic with little ones is tough!
Referrals accepted from GP's for the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, and rebates are available with private health insurance.

Supporting & educating women through their life cycles, is something our western society doesn't do well. From the first time we get our bleed, right up until we hit menopause & beyond, for many women, it's all a mystery that you have to work out yourself, or if you're lucky you might have some women in your life who can whisper some advice (which isn't always helpful!).
It breaks my heart looking at the statistics of girls & women who drop out of exercise & sports between adolescence & motherhood. Exercise is literally medicine for us!! Add on the social media, body image & diet culture, it's no wonder women hate their body.
Infertility is rising, mothers are struggling, women are over medicated, told their pain is in their head, and menopause is this dreaded thing that doesn't get talked about.
And this needs to change!
I believe the health of the planet lies in the hands of women. In the words of Dr Oscar Scerellach, "If mothers are well, families can be well. And if families are well then society has a much better chance of being well".
