I'm Ngaire and I'm a Women's Health Exercise & Integrative Nutrition Therapist

Work With Me

I help Mama's heal their core and pelvic floor, resolve pain & injury, and overcome depletion to Thrive  in Motherhood.

It's time for mothers to have the healthcare & support they need & deserve.

This work is NOT about bandaid solutions, boot camps or 'getting your body back'.  It's about creating a loving relationship with yourSELF.  It's about nervous system restoration, effective movement & rehabilitation practices, building strength, working with your cycle, working smarter not harder, and learning that everything in your life feeds you...not just whats on your plate.

This work is about merging exercise rehabilitation with nutritional science, lifestyle medicine, and feminine embodiment practices to allow you to step into your full potential as a woman & mother.

I know what it's like to be in pain.

My pelvic health journey started at the tender age of 15, coincidentally, the same year I officially became a woman & started my bleed.

Scar's on my belly tell the stories of my abdominal surgeries.

Chronic low back pain plagued me for 15 years.

As well as pelvic pain due to an ovarian cyst the size of an orange (which I had surgically removed).

I've grown & birthed two beautiful babies, and walked through the fire of matresence, feeling confused, lonely and so unsure of myself in this new life

I used to leak when I cough, and felt unhappy looking at my changing body in the mirror (truthfully still a work in progress as I enter my 40's!).

I was riddled with postnatal anxiety, and probably some degree of depression.

I lost my confidence & identity

And felt disheartened by our healthcare system for not being able to access the right kind of information or support I needed.  I had to find it all myself!

Yet, despite all of this, I am grateful.  The pain, injuries & trauma I've experienced led me to dive deep into womens pelvic health, and discover the treasure trove that lies here.

Through my professional education & lived experiences, I bring something unique to the field of pelvic health...the meeting point of physical rehabilitation, feminine embodiment and matresence support.

Work With Me

My Why

Supporting & educating women through their life cycles, is something our western society doesn't do well.  From the first time we get our bleed, right up until we hit menopause & beyond, for many women, it's all a mystery that you have to work out yourself, or if you're lucky you might have some women in your life who can whisper some advice (which isn't always helpful!).

It breaks my heart looking at the statistics of girls & women who drop out of exercise & sports between adolescence & motherhood.  Exercise is literally medicine for us!!  I believe if we are given more support & education about what is happening, and have more open & honest conversations, that we could change this.

Infertility is rising, mothers are struggling, women are over medicated, told their pain is in their head, and menopause is this dreaded thing that doesn't get talked about.

And this needs to change!

I believe the health of the planet lies in the hands of women.  In the words of Dr Oscar Scerellach, "If mothers are well, families can be well.  And if families are well then society has a much better chance of being well".

"I worked with Ngaire at 12 weeks postpartum to help support a prolapse and strengthen my pelvic floor.  Ngaire was so supportive and gentle in her approach as well as being incredibly knowledgeable.  I couldn't recommend her more, she is fantastic.  I walked away from our time together with a clear understanding of where my strength was currently and a do-able home program to get me to where I want to be."
