As women we have been taught that periods are an inconvenience, PMS is normal, pain is in our head, pregnancy is a medical condition, postpartum ends at 6-weeks, we can work like men, while mothering like we don’t work, that success is measured by how quickly you "get your body back", that incontinence after babies is normal, and menopause is a dirty word.

 

We’ve been taught to suck it in, zip it up, and get on with it.

 

But that's not how we roll around here.  Holistic Pelvic Care is about embodying everything that makes us women.  Ngaire recognise's that true healing involves a multifaceted, biopsychosocial approach; physical, emotional, social & spiritual.  That pelvic health is so much more than kegals and core exercises.  When a mother heals, she reclaims her personal power & evokes a ripple affect to her family & community.

I'm Ngaire.

I’ve always believed that everything in the body, mind & environment is connected.

As a mother, health professional, and someone who has lived experience with chronic pain, pelvic health & fertility struggles, and postnatal depletion, I spent years searching for answers.

I believe that our modern healthcare system is failing women.

Yet modern medicine has saved my life twice now, so I also have deep gratitude and respect for what it offers & teaches us. 

I blend my training & experience with western biomedical healthcare + social & emotional wellbeing, spirituality & other holistic practices to empower Mama's to rediscover themselves, heal the most sacred part of their body, & thrive (not just survive!) in motherhood.

My services will help you overcome pain & dysfunction, build strength, resilience and confidence, to support you on your maiden-to-mother transformation...no matter what age or stage!
